Let's make a some words that contain the vowel U

Today, I made some preparations for the kids to make words that contain the vowel U.
I first had them say the sound  of the first and last letter and look for the U sound between the other sounds O, A, E and I.
Then they had to put the vowel U between the other letters and read out the word.

Afterwards we went to a park we haven't been yet!  We found some acorns on the way back to Aloha!

Last, we played hide and seek with some autumn cards.
